Centre Information (Please read carefully)

Once you’ve submitted your entry form, we’ll confirm your booking by e-mailPayment is due upon confirmation of your booking, by transfer to our bank account, to safeguard your booking. No reminders will be sent and your booking will automatically lapse if payment is not received within 72 hoursWe do not operate card payments.

All necessary information is contained within this page and on the booking form to avoid any unnecessary communications as this is a simple booking process. Please submit any inquiries by e-mail  as we do not operate a dedicated telephone line.

Terms and Conditions for CBE bookings
The Centre reserves the right to cancel a previously confirmed session, for any reasons beyond its control. However, the Centre undertakes to run a session the week immediately following a cancellation.

An administration fee of £20 will be levied for the re-scheduling of a previously booked session and a £50 fee will be applied against any cancellation and the refund of fees. Any changes to bookings must be made by e-mail at least 72 hours before the start of a session.

Re-scheduling less than 72 hours before the session start will incur a fee of £30.

A “no show” or Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice will entail forfeiture of the full administration fee paid.

Special considerations or adjustments

It is the candidate’s responsibility to notify the Centre at the time of booking if he/she requires any special considerations or adjustments and/or any other requirements. Where this applies, the candidate will have to contact AAT directly to “Update their profile“.

Special considerations or adjustments may be additional time added to the normal unit assessment time duration or to be accompanied by a scribe, due to a candidate’s medically certified disability.

Candidates undertake to abide by the AAT’s examinations rules and the Centre’s regulations, as published on site.

Regulations for the conduct of AAT computer based exams
Please ensure that you bring the following:

Photo ID
All candidates are required to provide one photographic proof of identity.

Acceptable documents for this purpose are:
• Passport
• Driving licence
• Non-UK National identity card
In countries where there is a national identity card, only that or some other form of Government-issued photo ID can be accepted.

Candidates’ equipment
Candidates may bring with them pens, pencils, erasers and a calculator. If contained in a pencil case, this must be transparent.

Calculators must not be programmable. Calculators should not be able to store data, text or alphanumeric formulas. Calculators should not emit audible tones, be able to print, be programmable from other sources or be a function of a personal organiser, watch or mobile phone. Solar powered calculators are used at the candidate’s own risk.

The following items are not permitted:
• dictionaries (including electronic dictionaries)
• computers other than those being used for the assessment
• study text, revision cards, course notes
• books and papers

Candidates will be provided with rough paper for workings that must be left behind for shredding afterwards. Candidates are not permitted to bring their own rough paper.

Centre regulations
• Food is not allowed into the exam room

• Drinks in plastic bottles (with labels removed) is allowed into the exam room, with usual safety care observed

• All mobile phones must be switched off and left in the safe keep area
• Candidates must be able to operate a computer!
• Candidates are required to behave in a respectful and dignified manner to fellow candidates and the Centre’s staff

There is no parking facility on site during weekdays, but there is ample public car parking facilities in the town centre, just five minutes walk away.
